A Technical Advantage.
Engines continuously generate many very small
contaminants that escape current full-flow filter systems:
-
Typically, full-flow filters remove large oil contaminants, while additional
bypass filters still allow almost all contaminants below 5 microns to remain in
the oil system.
-
These particles of carbon, soot and dirt accumulate and recirculate with the
oil, eventually attacking crankshaft bearings and pistons, causing premature
wear and possible engine failure.
Alternatively, centrifuge technology removes abrasive dirt down to 0.1 microns.
The entire process reduces bearing and piston ring wear for overall lower
maintenance costs. |
